Amara is Vice President of People Operations at Tobin Capital Group, serving as TCG's first dedicated hire in the function and owning the design and implementation of its strategy from the ground up. Previously, Amara spent nine years at YLabs, a global research and design organization, where she joined as the founder's first hire and built the office and people function from scratch. She helped grow the organization from two people to a 30+ person team across eleven countries.
Amara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
A Northern California native, outside of work Amara enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling.
